Job Title: Emergency Room Physician, Rotating
We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Emergency Room Physician, Rotating to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. This role is ideal for a passionate and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality emergency care on a rotating schedule. As an Emergency Room Physician, Rotating, you will provide immediate medical attention to patients with acute illnesses or injuries, working across all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The Emergency Room Physician, Rotating will assess, diagnose, and initiate treatment for a wide range of medical conditions, coordinating care with specialists and other departments as needed. As an integral part of the emergency care team, the Emergency Room Physician, Rotating will lead the stabilization and resuscitation of critically ill or injured patients and make quick, evidence-based decisions under pressure.
In this role, the Emergency Room Physician, Rotating will be responsible for documenting all patient encounters accurately, communicating effectively with nursing staff and ancillary services, and ensuring smooth patient transitions within the healthcare system. The Emergency Room Physician, Rotating will also be expected to participate in ongoing training, quality assurance activities, and collaborative team meetings to ensure the highest standards of emergency medical care are maintained.
A successful Emergency Room Physician, Rotating must be proficient in a broad range of emergency procedures and able to manage diverse patient populations. The Emergency Room Physician, Rotating must demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, multitasking abilities, and resilience in high-pressure situations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Completion of an accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine or a related specialty
Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
Valid and unrestricted medical license
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
Willingness to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
